In the second meeting between Prime Minister Hun Sen and the production team of "Son Under the Full Moon", writer Huy Veasna said that the delay in filming, which was previously scheduled to start in January, was due to problems related to Covid-19, some historical characters to be supplemented and some materials that still needed to be found.
